Our school holidays finish on Sunday (Melbourne) 0 I feel I NEED a holiday now - it's been so busy, but we had fun.

Hi Patty, those are nice thoughts. Yes it’s a relief from the daily routine of running from one end of town to the other to pick up kids from their different activities. Sure holidays can be fun when you plan something green for the kids. On a small scale, you could get the kids to plant colourful flowers in funny pots - like old boots/shoes, tins and stuff you would probably throw in the bin. Also, at this time of the year, the fastest growing and most satisfying is salad leaves - lots of variety and colour. And they do grow fast.
